Mr. Rickie David Inscore, age 73 of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Inscore was born February 28, 1951, in Surry County to the late Clyde Elmer and Lettie Reynolds Inscore. Rickie was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Surviving is his daughter, Laura Inscore Williams; two grandchildren, Landon and Hannah Williams, Jaydon Hayes; great grandchildren, Emori Williams, Samuel Williams; a sister, Rhonda Inscore Slayton; brother and sister-in-law, Scott Inscore and Sharon; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Inscore was preceded in the death by his brothers, Darrell Inscore, Jeff Inscore; and a brother-in-law, Robert Slayton. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Skyline Memory Garden with Reverend Rusty Reed officiation. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
