Rickie "Rick" Poulin

Rickie Poulin Bristol - It is with great sadness that the family of Rickie (Rick) Poulin announce his passing on June 19, 2023 at the age of 68 in Moodus, CT. Rick was born in Bristol, CT to the late Lucien and Germaine Poulin.

He attended St. Ann's Grammar School, Bristol Central High School and then became a licensed electrician working for Posidento Electric and O.Z. Gedney locally.

After several years, Rick and wife Kathy moved to Austin, Texas where he began a new career in Real Estate. Rick worked new home construction for 20+ years in sales with Bill Milburn / D.R. Horton Homes. There, he managed every aspect of the new home build process, guiding his customers with integrity and a strong work ethic. His career flourished as he became a top 10% performer nationally for many years.

Upon his retirement, Rick and Kathy returned to CT to care for aging family members and assist whenever called upon for various home construction projects, and other tasks.

Rick was a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast enjoying many years of twisting wrenches and riding his Harley. He loved the beach, and spent any downtime relaxing at Hammonasset. He was a loving, loyal spouse and friend who loved his family.

Rick is predeceased by his Parents, his sister Shirley (Violette) Salka, father-in-law Alfred Madore and mother-in-law Anita Madore. Rick is survived by his wife of 43 years Kathy (Madore) Poulin; sister Dorothy Poulin of Bristol, CT; brother Roger Poulin and partner Lorraine Dittmer of Hobe Sound, FL; sister Debra and husband Thomas Chase of Providence, RI; in-laws Karen and Billy Cowdell, Kim and Steve Billerman; Roger and Pauline Madore; Bob Madore; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous lifelong friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
