Ricky David Combs

Mr. Ricky David Combs Sr., 66, of Galax, VA passed away on January 26, 2026 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. He was born on August 12, 1959 to the late Herman Thomas Combs and Emma Ashby Combs. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Combs and Graham Combs, a son, Bobby Allen Combs, and a grandson, Nathaniel Combs.

He is survived by his wife, Gervis "Revonne" Combs of Galax, VA, two sons, David Combs of Mountain City, TN and Ricky Combs Jr. of Galax, VA, daughter, Ginger Combs of Galax, VA; brothers, Robert Combs (Shelia) of Lexington, VA, Earl Combs (Elizabeth) of Marion, VA, Stacy Combs (Robin) of Atkins, VA, and Bowen Mutter of Marion, VA; sisters, Betty Jennings of Atkins, VA, Roxanne Frye (Jerry) of Atkins, VA, Nancy VanHoy (Scott) of Marion, VA, Linda Clevenger (Doug) of Rural Retreat, VA and Kathy Elliott of Marion, VA; grandchildren, Ricky (III) Combs, Chasity Combs, Aden Combs, Savannah Carrico, Braden Carrico, David Tyler Combs, and Selena Combs.

No services will be held at this time.
