Ira was one of our counselors at Boy Scout Camp Cedars. We all thought he was a great guy. He helped us qualify for several merit badges. I contacted some of my old troop mates that live out of state, and they, like me, remembered Ira fondly. We met him when he was being of service to others, and it is so satisfying to see that his desire to be of service continued for him in that he went on to do great good in North Omaha.

Ira was a big part of the North Omaha community and was instrumental in bringing some of his NOAH services to the community at the Charles B. Washington Branch Library. I am grateful that he had the gift of generosity. To his family and friends, may the many good memories etched in your heart bring comfort. He will be kindly remembered by me and many others.

I have known Ira since we worked at Boy Scout Camp Cedar, near Fremont Nebraska in 1969. He was a great person than and he continued his legacy throughout his life. I will always remember him as as tremendously kind and loving person. I wish his family and friends much comfort and peace in knowing that he lived a life of service to other's. There is no greater calling,

As an occasional volunteer at NOAH, I appreciated that Ira would always give me a friendly greeting. He seemed to be a kind soul, and left a great legacy behind. My condolences to his family, colleagues, and friends.
