Ricky Horn Obituary
Ricky was born in New Mexico on February 11, 1955, to the late Robert Lee Horn and Shirley Moring Horn Suggs. He served in Law Enforcement for over 34 years. He worked with the Baldwin County Sheriff Department as the Chief Detective for many years and later worked with the Putnam County Sheriff Department as the Jail Administrator. Among many of his Peace Officers Training, he graduated at the top of his class for his Initial POST Certification Training. He was a Certified Crime Scene Tech, Post Training Instructor, Specialized Firearms Instructor, and certified in the Dept of Revenue (IRS) Financial Investigative Techniques.
He enjoyed photography and Firearm Target Shooting.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Horn of Milledgeville, two brothers, Steve Horn (Teresa) and Jeff Suggs (Shannon) both of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Moores Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
