Ricky Hyde Obituary
He was a gifted mechanic who could fix just about anything put in front of him. Whether it had wheels, a motor, or moving parts, he had the skill and the patience, to bring it back to life.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors working in his yard. At his side all the time was his beloved dog, Bonnie, his constant companion and loyal friend.
Above all, Ricky will be remembered for his generous heart. He was always willing to lend a hand, never hesitating when someone needed help. His kindness, hard work, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Lummus, Jerry Lummus, Ann Edwards, Charles Lummus and Debbie Bobo.
Ricky is survived by his son, Shane Hyde; siblings, Junior Lummus, Jackie Lummus and Karen Edwards; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
