Ricky Glen Lambert, 64, of Bedias, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Bedias, Texas. He was born to Glen Howard "Bill" and Shirley Marcien (Lasyone) Lambert on April 5, 1961, in Houston, Texas. Ricky's hands were never idle; he could fix anything. His talents extended beyond his profession as a pipe fitter; he had a knack for crafting stunning windmills that brought joy to all who admired them. A true handyman, he took great pride in caring for both his home and his mother, Shirley's house in Bedias, Texas, ensuring that every space was a reflection of his hard work and attention to detail.Beyond his craftsmanship, Ricky had a passion for cooking and enjoyed barbecuing for family and friends. His hospitality and warmth will be sorely missed by those who gathered around his table.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Glen Lambert; sister, Glenna Bird; paternal grandparents, Joe and Louise (Nations) Lambert; and maternal grandparents, Real and Ozalar (Poisso) Lasyone. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Lambert of Bedias, Texas; sister, Kayla Cambiano (Tommy) of Santa Fe, Texas; three nieces, Crystal Bruning (Mario) of League City, Texas, Carrie Hill (Richard) of Baytown, Texas, and Cathy Lopez (Xavier) of Crosby, Texas; great-nephews, Marcus Lopez, Tristan Brown, and Anthony Mario; great-nieces, Ibrina Lopez, Audrey Lopez, Lailah Hill, Samantha Fuentes, and Melissa Bruning; great-great-nieces, Emma and Naiomi; dogs, Louie and Squirt; and cat, Fat Cat.
A funeral service for Ricky will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Pastor of Bedias Methodist Church, Mark Pickett, will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 11 A.M., Friday, February 20, 2026, in Iatt Cemetery, Atlanta, Louisiana. Pastor Terry Smith will officiate the service.
