Ricky Millam, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Allen Street Baptist Church in Clinton. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Firefighters Association and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Ricky "Rick" H. Millam was born on May 30, 1953 to George H. Millam and Donna Marie (Cambell) Millam. Rick attended Clinton Schools until 1972. He met E. Eileene Dalton when they both worked at Rival Manufacturing in Clinton. They were married on September 14, 1974 and to this union they were blessed with two children Kristie and Jeremy.

Rick became a second-generation Clinton Firefighter when he became a volunteer in June of 1974. In January of 1975 Rick went full time with the Clinton Fire Department.

Rick is survived by his two children; Kristie (Chris) Compton of Sarasota, Florida, and Jeremy (Ami) Millam of Clinton, Missouri, 6 grandchildren; Jordyn Henry of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Lane Compton of Sarasota, Florida, Summar Shippy-Millam of Warrensburg, Missouri, Gunner Millam of Clinton, Missouri, Railee Compton of Warrensburg, Missouri, and Orla Millam of Clinton, Missouri, 3 great grandchildren; Grayson Strong of Clinton, Missouri, Eleanor Henry and Hucklee Henry both of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, 4 siblings; Steve Millam of Clinton, Missouri, Chris (Elaine) Millam of Clinton, Missouri, Becky (Chris) Good of Marshal, Missouri, and Susan Stone of Clinton, Missouri, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
