Obituary Ricky Robert Robinson
Ricky Robert Robinson, 59, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Ricky was born May 31, 1965 in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Dorothy Robinson and Richard Cosgrove Doss.
Ricky grew up in the Fort Hall area where he attended schools. After earning his GED, he also obtained his CDL.
Ricky was a man with a great skillset which led him to varied jobs. He helped build the Fort Hall Event Center and Casino, he worked for Teton Precast Concrete Design, Lambert Potato warehouse and at Robison Roofing as a materials tester. He also worked in Florida rebuilding roofs after Hurricane Katrina. His main occupation was a long haul truck driver.
His hobbies included watching NASCAR and football, tinkering with his truck and cars and hanging out at the casino. He liked to fish and be a rockhound. He liked collecting old cars and trucks. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going for long drives in the hills. He was always calling his niece to run him around to do errands.
Ricky is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Woody) Merrel and Destiny Anderson; siblings Princess Lynette Moore, Shane (Tammy) Doss, Nickey (Israel) Swenson, Pam Richards, Tommy Doss and Derek Doss; 10 grandchildren and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dorothy Doss; grandparents Kenneth and Emma Jean Cosgrove, Villie and Norman Robinson, Carl and Maxine Doss, Helen and Roger Reed; and nieces, Aireanne Moore and Davina Doss.
A viewing will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.
