Jack Webb Obituary
Jack Webb, lifelong resident of Pingree, passed away August 20, 2025, with his loving wife by his side.
Jack was born to Jonathon Browning Webb and Cleo Peterson Webb on March 14, 1949, in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Growing up, Jack lived in Pingree and attended schools in Snake River and graduated from Snake River High School. During high school, he wrestled and was involved in FFA; but what he cherished most was meeting the love of his life, Dorothy Ann Ternus.
Upon their completion of high school, they married on June 1, 1968, at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Blackfoot, Idaho. Together they built a home filled with love, faith, and family.
Jack was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church and a part of the St. John's Mission in Pingree, where he helped with the building of the church. He was also involved with the Bingham County Range Deputies, Knights of Columbus, the Elks Lodge and the American Angus Association.
Farming and ranching were not just Jack's work, but his passion. He loved the land, the animals, and the way of life it provided. He also loved spending time in the mountains at the ranch.
More than anything, Jack's greatest joy was his family. He enjoyed BBQs, working on projects, watching John Wayne movies, and sharing a good joke. He treasured the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children Sandy (Brian) Colling, Diana (Craig) Reese, and David (Jamie) Webb; sister Betty (Gerry) Vogler; siblings in law Patricia Webb (Hall), Dawn Cleverly, LaWanda Ternus, Donald Ternus, Tom Ternus, Gary (Brenda) Ternus, Teresa (Jeff) Pearson and Neal (Melanie) Ternus.
He is survived by 11 grandchildren (and spouses); Kayla (Eric) Ketcham, Travis Crippen, Dillon Webb (Chris Shepherd), Russ (Makayla) Steinmetz, Randa (Tristin) Peterson, Reagan Reese, Bo Webb, Hailey Steinmetz, Ryker Reese, Carlie Webb, Payton Webb, and 3 great grandchildren Haizlee Steinmetz, Jacksen Steinmetz and Kynnlee Steinmetz.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; Jonathon and Cleo Webb; brothers Jony and Joe; sister Darlene and a baby sister; his father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Rhoda Ternus; his brothers-in-law, Charles Ternus and Pete Maheras; and nephew Christopher Vogler.
