Ricky Templeton Obituary
Ricky lived in Des Moines most of his life; he grew up on a farm. He was a mechanic at Asplundh, and later he did flooring installation. Ricky enjoyed horses, loved his dog Sonny, and loved cooking, camping, and fishing. He also loved to ride motorcycles in his younger years. Most of all, he loved his family.
Ricky married his high school sweetheart Connie in 1975, they divorced in 2000, then reconnected in 2013, and remained together until his passing.
Ricky is remembered by his spouse, Connie Templeton; sons TJ and Jamie Templeton; daughter Rhonda Templeton Newcomer (her husband, Steve Newcomer); his mom, Barbara J. Templeton; brothers Jerry (and his wife, Tina) Eric (and his wife, Kim). Ricky leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry; his brothers, Bobby and Buddy; and his granddaughter, Kaylee.
Memorial services are planned for a later date. Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice nurses Alexis and Deb.
