Riley Ann Kunz, 25, currently of Chicago passed away on January 4, 2023. She was born on August 19, 1997 to Bjorn and Gianna Kunz.
A 2016 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School, Riley had a big heart and a bright future. As a young child, she was filled with curiosity and a great sense of humor. Riley was bright, sensitive, smart, kind, and charming. Throughout her young life, she had an amazing talent for art and writing and found beauty in everything.
Riley was an avid reader and loved books, music, dancing, concerts and music festivals, as well as fashion and shopping. She was passionate about women's rights and animals. Riley had a gift and could talk to literally anyone.
Riley will be missed by her parents, Bjorn and Gianna; her twin sister, Andie (fiancé, Shane Meehan); sisters, Alexx Kunz and Sydney (Robert) Schultz; nephew and niece, Paul and Berlin Schultz; grandparents, Norbert and Aud Kunz and Herbert and Renee Greksa; aunt, Chako Kunz and cousins, Franklin and Emmett Mull; aunt, Michelle Rzenca and cousins, Ethan and Josh Rzenca; uncle Aaron (Julie) Greksa and cousins Annabel, Avery, Kaitlyn and Elliot; and her beloved cats, Zephyr and Chicken. Riley will also be missed by a loving extended family and cherished friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12 from 4pm until the time of a service at 7:30pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
