~Jai Shri Krishna ~
Rishi Patel, son of Parag Patel and Shree Patel and brother of Meera Patel, passed to the divine on March 11th, 2025. He passed peacefully in his sleep at his home.
Though his time here was brief, he filled it with unwavering humor, wit, and compassion.
He loved fiercely but quietly, not by making grand gestures but by countless small acts of thoughtfulness to the people in his life. He preferred the obscurity of anonymity rather than the limelight, believing that kindness doesn't need to come with a name tag.
His light will be profoundly missed, but he will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Please join us in prayers and wishing him goodbye as he transitions to a new phase in his journey..

Rishi and I were orchestra buddies in high school. Although we didn´t talk much after high school, Rishi was a real friend. To the core, he was what a friend should be. Unwavering loyalty. He gave me support through my toughest year of my life 3 years ago. He never had ulterior motives, only a wish to see me and everyone around him grow. I´m so sorry Rishi. Rest easy.

My name is Cornelius Gong (Rishi knew me by Connor). I was friends with him in highschool and during our junior year we both challenged each other to make the highschool swim team. We would find the best opportunities for day passes to go swimming and he really pushed me and encouraged me to do my best, training together. Thanks to him and his contagious desire to pursue opportunities, I made the swim team. The first photo is him getting ready to dive and the second is me watching him to give him advice. (He did the same for me after) During covid, we were in the same online statistics class, and we made it through together as well. I haven´t spoken with Rishi since, except for a small text I sent him 1 1/2 years ago and we chatted a bit. Rishi is a friend that I value highly and am so grateful for his support, even if it was just with emotional issues. I didn´t have too many friends that I confided in, but he was someone I trusted and relied on. I´m currently in Virginia going to Liberty University and it grieves me that I won´t be able to attend, and even though the only photos I have of us are of a small memory, I cherish those small wins. I love you man, and I am so grateful for you being my friend.
