Rita Beach Obituary
Rita M. Beach, 78, of Great Bend, PA was called home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Floyd; by her children, Kim (Kevin) Gorman, Chuck Sterling, and Becky (Michael) Robinson; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Jean Drake, and Marvin (Nancy) Anderson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousin. Rita was predeceased by her first husband, Charlie Sterling in 1989.
Rita graduated from Troy High School in Ohio. She moved to Pennsylvania in the late 1960s. Rita married Charlie in 1969 and began their family. Rita raised her children. She later worked for various businesses including US Assemblies and at the Pennsylvania Welcome Center. Rita was best friends with May Beach, Floyd's mother. In 1990 Rita and Floyd were married. She attended the Community Methodist Church, Great Bend and was formerly active with Faith Alive Ministries in New Milford and a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hallstead. Rita enjoyed her home and was content. Her home had everything she wanted and she called it her dream house. Rita's love for others showed in her generosity in meeting the needs of those around her. She is deeply loved and already missed.
Services will be held after the Holidays and will be announced at a later date.
