Rita F. Bradley, age 66, of Spencer, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 3, 2025, at House of the Dove in Marshfield, surrounded by her loving family and with care provided by Compassus Hospice. Rita was born on May 30, 1959, in Canton, Ohio, to John and Rose (Hartshorn) Dougherty. On September 23, 1978, in Louisville, Ohio, she married the love of her life, Kevin Bradley. Together, they made their home in Spencer, Wisconsin.
Memorial Services will be held in celebration for Rita at 2 PM on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church for a time of visitation from 1 PM until time of service.
Rita was a devoted member of Faith Fellowship Church in Marshfield, where she found joy in serving others through her faith. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a compassionate caregiver at an assisted living center and cherished the time she spent babysitting. Rita was also a valued employee of Shopko for many years.
Rita had a great love for travel, embarking on 21 cruises and visiting seven beautiful resorts throughout her life. She was an avid hockey fan, cheering on the Minnesota Wild, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the New York Rangers. Above all, Rita treasured time spent with her grandchildren, especially when they were out fishing together, anywhere they could cast a line!
Those who will forever cherish Rita's memory include her devoted husband, Kevin Bradley of Spencer; her beloved children, Kristina (Tom) Koontz of Marshfield, Brian (Cami) Bradley of Spencer, and Vickie Bradley of Londonderry, New Hampshire; and her treasured grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Evelyn, Eli, Tyler, Ethan, and Madelynn. She is also survived by her brother, Donald "Doc" (Teresa) Dougherty of Louisville, Ohio, her faithful canine companion, Midge, her miniature dachshund, as well as many other dear relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rose Dougherty; twin daughters, Jennifer and Melissa; and her sister, Colleen Lanzer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rita's name can be directed to: Shirley's House of Hope, 1316 N Hume Avenue, Marshfield, WI 54449.
