Rita was the sister of Mary Lou Cooke of Braddock Hills and the late Eileen "Neen" (late Daniel) Gress.
Dear aunt of Tina (Kevin) Bollman of Braddock Hills and Samantha and Daniel Gress of Monroeville.
Rita was a retired customer service representative with Equitable Gas Co. she loved animals especially her pet cats. She enjoyed socializing with her many friends at lunches and movies and sharing her keen sense of humor. Rita mostly cherished any time that she could spend with her family.
Friends are welcome on Monday from 4-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette Church of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish on Tuesday at 1 pm.

I worked with Rita at Equitable Gas. She was so patient with customers and always willing to do whatever she could to assist someone in need. She made our days brighter with her wit and laughter. Lifting your family in thought and prayer.
