Rita Darlene Cummings

Rita was a very dear friend for many years. She watched my children grow from toddlers through the dreaded teens and into adulthood. She would often call me through the years to have me meet her at the old Painters Creek Restaurant where she would have bags of jeans and cool tops my girls needed. (Rather, they loved) They were always excited to get her hand-me-downs! She was there when I lost my oldest daughter/niece. And she remained strong for me through my cancer battle and my marriage collapse. We worked for years side by side doing the fishing tournament circut.. She and I went together like peanut butter and jelly. Our friendship stood the test of time, and I will miss her laugh and her smiling eyes. I loved her as a sister.. Nobody will ever fill the void she's left in my heart.
