Rita Cunningham Obituary
Rita was born on November 21, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa. to Anthony & Jean DiVito.
She married Don Cunningham in 1957 and they raised 3 wonderful Sons - Don, Dave, and Dennis.
She is survived by Her Husband, Capt. Don Cunningham, USCG (ret.), 3 children, 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
Rita lived her life as a committed wife & mother. She was a firm believer in The Lord Jesus Christ and now resides in Heaven with Him. She had sweet, loving ways that will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A pre-service viewing will be held at Toale Brothers Chapel, 40 North Orange Ave, Sarasota, Fl. 34236 at 10 - 11:00 AM, Tuesday, 29 November, followed by a service there at 11:00 AM.
Then, a burial service will be held at 1:30 PM, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, Fl 34241.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to Lakewood Ranch Baptist Church, 5600 Deer Drive, Sarasota, Fl 34240.
