Rita Mamie Jennaro

(nee Carini) Born to Life March 14, 1939. Born to Eternal Life November 2, 2021. Residence Milwaukee. Beloved wife of the late William A. Jennaro. Loving mother of Mario W. Jennaro and Lisa R. (Todd) Lewein. Proud grandmother of William and Taylor Lewein. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rita is re-united with her beloved Bill and her late siblings- Annette (Nicolo) Basile, Rose (Arthur) Kujawa, Anne (Robert) Johnson, Jeanette (Emil) Krizan, Marie (Charles) Sardina, Helen (Joseph) Clark, and Michael (Gail) Carini.
First and foremost, Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. As the last matriarch of the Carini family, she will be immensely missed and always holds a special place in the hearts of all her family.
Rita met her husband, Bill, the first day of high school. After getting married, she worked at Manpower while Bill attended college and law school. After having children, Rita then became a dedicated homemaker.
Rita always shared her time, showered you with gifts and provided for her family and friends. She spread her love with her wonderful cooking and mastered all the Italian recipes passed down through family generations. Her love of cooking was one way she touched everyone around her, always entertaining to bring people together and guests would leave with her recipes and cooking secrets in their pockets.
Rita enjoyed playing cards and was an excellent gin and poker player, simply another example of how she brought people together. She enjoyed bocce at the Italian Community Center for many years and volunteered her time along with her husband at Festa Italiana and other community events.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 7th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Northshore Funeral Services Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday November 8th at 10:30 AM at St. Rita Church Three Holy Women Catholic Parish; 1617 N. Cass St. Milwaukee 53202. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, memorials appreciated to St. Jude or the Charity of your choice.
