Rita Lane 92 of Harrisburg passed away Thursday March 26, 2026 at Deaconess Heartland Hospital in Marion. Rita was born August 8, 1933 in Harrisburg and was raised by her mother Juanita Cantrell Cline along with three brothers. She married John Homer Lane on December 2, 1950. Rita was a faithful member of Dorrisville Baptist Church.

Surviving her are 3 daughters, Nanette (John) Parkinson, Juana (Gordon) Beal and Angie (Tim) Behme all of Harrisburg along with 11 grandchildren, Amanda Holland, Ryan Franks, Liz Pilcher, Walker Franks, Jayna Borders, Jordan Hicks, Paul Lane, Ross Lane, Joe Lane, Alexa Hall, Isaac Behme, 1 step grandchild Debra Threet and 23 Great Grandchildren, Will Holland, Graham Holland, Jackson Holland, Cece Franks, Elle Franks, Parker Franks, Saige Franks, Fin Pilcher, Saylor Pilcher, Coy Pilcher, Perry Franks, Graye Franks, Rowan Franks, Harris Franks, Mia Hicks, Kline Hicks, Layla Borders, Kennedy Borders, Judah Hall, Evelyn Hall, Ivy Behme, Beau Behme and Theo Lane.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Homer, her son Rick J. Lane, 1 step son John Lyndel Lane and 3 brothers, Donnie Joe Cline, James "Chigger" Cline and Michael Troy Cline.

Visitation for Rita Lane will be Saturday March 28, 2026 at the Dorrisville Baptist Church from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Services and burial will be private. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
