Rita Leaman Obituary
On January 20, 1968, she was married to Michael E. Leaman in Otterbein, Indiana, and he preceded her in passing on May 21, 2025. She spent her career as a homemaker, raising their two daughters.
Rita is survived by her daughters, Micki Jo (Rick) Clemons of Lafayette, and Ginger Kay Unger of Lafayette; sister, Barbara Moore; brother, Randy Scott; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rita was preceded in death by two sisters, four brothers, and a grandson, Gunner Leaman Jones.
Per Rita's wishes, there will not be any services, and she will be laid to rest at Spring Vale Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions in Rita's name may be made to Almost Home Humane Society.
