Rita Gale Moock

Mrs. Rita Gale Moock, age 69, of Mt. Washington, Ky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 26, 1956, to the late Lawrence Moock and Rita Mae (Wright) Moock. Gale was a loving and devoted wife and mother and grandmother. She was retired from the McDonald's location in Mt. Washington and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Gale will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Rita; sister, Donna Moock; brother, Larry Moock and grandson, Draven Greenwell. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Davis; son, Joey Davis (Jenica); daughters, Jenny Vineyard (James) and Rachael Huddleston; brothers, Steve Moock (Angel) and Karl Moock (Sharon); grandchildren, Brendan Shelton, Abygale Vineyard, Dylan Thompson, and Clayton Coyle, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service
