Rita Neverman

Today, August 20, I got a note from Valerie Ryan letting me know the passing of her Mother and my close friend Rita. I am heartbroken, Rita and I go back to our high school days at Grover Cleveland in Ridgewood, Queens. We were on the service squad together. We also bowled on a mixed league team. We had sleep overs with our other friend Shirley. Those were the good old days. I haven't seen Rita in some time because of distance and age limitations for me. But we always remembered each others birthday and we both were amazed that we made it to 80 years old. I know Rita is at peace now, but I just feel so sad knowing that she has passed away. Rest in Peace Rita!!!
