St. Cloud, MN.
Burial
will take place Monday, August 4, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Grandview Memorial
Gardens, Rochester, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home,
St. Cloud, MN.
Rita
was born June 14, 1951 in Rochester, MN to Edward and Avonne (Nichols) O'Byrne.
She married Kenneth L. Allers on April 6, 1999. They later divorced. Rita was a
cake decorator in Houston, TX and later was employed as a baker by the Mayo
Clinic. She moved to St. Cloud, MN in 2010.
Rita
loved baking and decorating cakes, playing volleyball, attending car races,
playing cards, singing, listening to the Golden Oldies music of 1955 -1975, and
especially spending time with friends.
Survivors
include a nephew, John Jones of Mansfield, OH.
