Rita is preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Kennedy.
Rita is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald E. Wise, father, Kenneth K. Kennedy, children, Clayton E. Wise (Sheri), Donna T. Wise (Renea Baggett), Kenneth H.D. Wise (Elizabeth), grandchildren, Amanda D Tyson (Nick), Kristi A. Mead (Max), Elijah Posey (Haley), Kadie Spear (Michael), Sadie Goodwin (Ryan), Austin Wise, Addison Wise, siblings, Shelia Bass (Rick), Ronnie Kennedy (Donna).

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home beginning at 9:30 with services immediately to follow at 10:00am.
