"Roady" ~ "Mom" ~ "Meaga"

February 15, 1933 - November 22, 2025

Our hearts are broken as our Mom, Meaga, Sister, and friend Roady ascends to join her beloved husband Joe, her beautiful daughter Joann and her many family members and friends in heaven. Her memory and her life lessons will live on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Loving and devoted mother of Rose, Vince (Kathy), Andrea (Dave), Cindy (Alec), MJ, Joe and Paul. Super adored and treasured Meaga of Angela (Mike), Lisa (Brent), VJ (Terra), Kevin (Crystal), Joey (Fallyn), Selena, and Paul. Proud and admired "great" Meaga of Elle, Tripp, Lilly, Tyler, Jacob, Finn, Noelle, Natalie, Eve, and JJ. Cherished sister of Don (the late Jackie) Kaiser. Dear sister-in-law of Eleanor, Msgr. Tony, James, and Betty Jo. She was predeceased by her siblings, Chuck (Rosemary), Mary Jane (Jim), Liz (Harold), Ken (Jan), Jim (Ellie), and Bill (Clare). Between the Kaiser and Tocco families she was a loving aunt of more nieces and nephews than anyone could reasonably keep track of, and she loved everyone of them.

Roady leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and acceptance. Her home was always a beacon of light that welcomed everyone, and many stayed on for longer than a night or two. Her generosity knew no bounds.

She was the heartbeat of our family, the steady center of the entire Tocco crew. Only she had the remarkable ability to bring everyone together, and she did it with a kind of effortless grace. Holidays, birthdays, or even an ordinary Sunday became something special simply because she was there.

"Meaga" wasn't just a nickname; it grew into a symbol of everything she embodied. Meaga meant love, strength, laughter, comfort, and home. It will forever bring a smile to our faces each time we say it.

Her adventurous spirit allowed her to consistently enjoy new people and experiences, even into her nineties. Her children have all inherited and embraced these most excellent qualities.

She was a passionate and loyal friend, and has always been surrounded by her dear friends throughout her entire life. Whether enjoying a good meal or a game of cards, fun was always at the top of her agenda, and life around her was always easy and energizing.

She leaves us all with a huge void to fill, but we stand eternally grateful to have all been along for the ride on her remarkable journey through life.

May we forever keep her spirit alive..

Visitation Sunday, November 30th, from 2-9pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby Township), 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Monday, December 1st, Instate from 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Kieran Church, 53600 Mound Rd., Shelby Twp., 48316 (Btw. 24 & 25 Mile).
