Rob J. Bowser, 55, of Schellsburg, died on Monday, September 15, 2025 at UPMC Bedford. He was born on February 25, 1970 in Windber, a son of the late Robert A. Bowser and Janet L. (Barefoot) Bowser of Bedford. Along with his mother he is survived by two brothers: Troy A. Bowser of Bedford and Ross E. Bowser of New Paris; a nephew, Layne Bowser of Schellsburg; and a niece, Morgan Bowser of Bellwood.

Rob was of the Lutheran Faith and graduated from The Johnstown Vo-Tech. He owned and operated Rob’s Auto Service in Schellsburg. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and frequently attending Sturgis Motorcycle Rallies with his friends. He enjoyed his family especially his niece and nephew and would always host the family reunions.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Kathy Popp officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a donation in Rob’s name may do so to the Zion Lutheran Church, 100 Main Street, Everett, PA 15537.
