Rob Merritt Obituary
Rob was a hardworking, self-employed remodeling and construction professional, recognized for his meticulous skills. Whether working for clients or on projects at home for his family, Rob always gave his all and approached each task with dedication and care.
Rob and Chris were blessed with their son, Matt, who selflessly put his own life plans on hold to care for his father during his illness. Rob faced his battle with cancer with courage and determination, continuing to fight until he found peace and comfort in the promise of life hereafter.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Montgomery, OH 45242. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati https://hospiceofcincinnati.org/donate and the Kidney Cancer Association https://www.kidneycancer.org in honor of Rob's memory. Online condolences may be shared at www.strawserfuneralhome.com.
