Robert ‘Bob’ F. Bratz, age 84 of Litchfield, MN died on Friday January 2, 2026 at the Ecumen Assisted Living in Litchfield. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Litchfield, MN. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral and Cremation Service and will continue one hour before the service. Interment will be held in Ripley Cemetery, Litchfield, MN.

Robert Frank Bratz was born on April 16, 1941 in Litchfield, MN to Reinhardt and Josephine (Heller) Bratz and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1959. He married Karen Jackson in 1960. He later married Joyce Jackson on August 30, 1974 at the “Little Brown Church in the Vale”. Bob worked for Anderson Crane for 43 years as a machinist and welder. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Litchfield and also a member of AA with 42 years of sobriety. He was a pitman for dirt stock car races for many years and enjoyed telling jokes, gardening, watching western television and movies, riding motorcycles, and feeding and watching birds and squirrels.
He is survived by his children Sue (Delos) Steinhaus of Litchfield, MN, Sandy (Jerry) Christoffer of Litchfield, MN, Wes Bratz of Darwin, MN, Robert (Racheal) Bratz of Maple Lake, MN and Ryan (Emily) Bratz of Litchfield, MN; grandchildren Owen Bratz, Isaac Bratz, Ricky (Melissa) Nelson, Pat Hoecke, Nick (Megan) Steinhaus, Haley Bratz, Andy (Brittany) Dewald, Jenny (Lee) Forsberg and Devon (Ellie) Bratz; great grandchildren Blake, Jayden, Jase, William, Tucker, Oliver, Nora, Christian, Rachael, Matthew, Elizabeth, Megan, Dacotah, Anyiah and Annsleigh; great great grandchildren Layla, Walter and Owen.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce; former wife Karen; parents Reinhardt and Josephine; son Ricky Bratz; and brother Steve Bratz.
