Robert (Bob) Vincent Morose, age 87, of Vermont, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton following a rapid decline in health. Bob was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, on June 22, 1938, the son of Maciej and Salome (Lachowicz) Morose and attended the local school there in Danvers. He worked on and operated the Morose Brothers Dairy Farm, in Middleton, Massachusetts, and also worked as a bus driver for the Masconomet Regional High School for many years.
He resided at the Darling Inn in Lyndonville for the past 10 years and was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Parish. Bob was truly a man of God who loved and enjoyed God’s beauty through nature.
Robert Morose is predeceased by his seven brothers, Edward, Anthony, John, Joseph, Benjamin, Daniel and Victor; and three sisters, Theresa, Helen and Mary. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
It is with sincere gratitude that the family would like to thank the staff and residents at Maple Lane Nursing Home for their unwavering compassionate care for our Uncle Bob.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Harlow at St. Elizabeth Church in Lyndonville, on Friday September 5, 2025, at 8:30 am. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Watson Road in Norway, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Corpus Christi Parish, 49 Winter Street, St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
