Robert Shimko Obituary
Bob was born in Joyce, WA to Sam and Linda Shimko.
Bob is a graduate of Crescent High School in Joyce WA. He started his career working for Crown Zellerbach, then moved into a long haul truck driving career, traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast, hauling his freight with his partner, Jill Shimko, his wife. After retiring from truck driving, he was an avid outdoorsman, as a camp host. Bob spent most of his time hunting and fishing.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jill Shimko, his sons: Bob Shimko Jr. (Becky Shimko), Brian Shimko Sr, Shannon Shimko and Paul Peterson (Bozena Peterson) and their families.
Brothers/Sisters: Joe Shimko- deceased (Cheri Shimko); Sam Shimko (Claudia Shimko); Linda Hall (Don Hall) and Amy Miller (John Miller). His memorial will be in Homer, AK at a later date.
