Robert Abe R Showers Sr, 70, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on January 19, 1955, in Sunbury, the son of the late Lee Showers and Ada (Beaver) Showers. On June 12, 1976, in New Columbia, PA, he married the former Deborah K. Miller, who survives
Bob graduated from Lewisburg High School in and earned an Associate Degree in IT networking from the McCann School of Business.
He proudly served in the Naval Reserves and Army National Guard until his honorable discharge.
Bob has owned and operated Abe's Custom Woodworking in Mifflinburg since 2021. Earlier, he worked for World Fiber installing fiber optic lines in Williamsport C-Cor of State College and CATV of Milton.
He attended the Freedom Life Church, Milton.
His hobbies were woodworking, boating, and camping.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 48 years, Debbie, are two sons, Robert Showers Jr, and his girlfriend, Margaret Hamlin of Montgomery; Justin and Alicia Showers of Mifflinburg; six grandchildren; Logan and Evan Summer, Sarah, Madison, and Mason, a brother, David Showers of Winfield, and a sister, Sue Showers of Mifflinburg.
He was predeceased by a sister, April Koonsman, and a brother, James Showers.
Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of life service in honor of Abe at 11 am on Saturday March 8, 2025, at Freedom Life Church, 3114 PA-405, Milton, with Pastor Tony Cruz officiating. A visitation with family will be from 10 am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's memory may be sent to ?.
