Robert J. Adams

Robert J. Adams, 60, of Girard, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
He was born on June 4, 1965, a son of the late Robert L. Adams and Claire (Ritter) Adams.
Bob grew up in the Erie area and attended Tech Memorial High School. Known as a true jack of all trades, he was never intimidated by a project or something in need of repair. He pursued schooling to become a certified electrician and held several positions over the years before finding his long-term home at PSB Industries Inc., where he remained a loyal and dedicated employee for over twenty years. Bob became the "go-to" person for projects, repairs, and troubleshooting equipment, taking great pride in a job well done.
Above all, Bob cherished his family and the time he spent with them. He had a deep love for nature and found peace among the quiet strength of towering forests. He enjoyed hiking whenever he could and traveled with family and recently to Yellowstone National Park, a place he truly appreciated. During the summers in Erie, he loved being outdoors, making the most of the season. His home was also very important to him, and he took pride in personally renovating and improving it. A natural tinkerer, Bob often worked on projects both to enhance his home and to create meaningful gifts for others.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family, including his daughter, Jessica Roney (Travis); his son, Brandon Adams (Julia Barnes); and his sister, Sharon Correll (Stewart). He is also survived by his sisters Melissa Adams, and Michelle Zigler; his brothers, Jarrod Adams and Jonathan Adams; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. at the Edder Family Funeral Home, LLC, 309 Main St. E., Girard.
