Robert Allen Alldredge, Sr. passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Alvarado, Texas. He was born November 24, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Barbara Ann Richardson on June 27, 1979 in Fort Worth, Texas. Robert was a member of the Alvarado Methodist Church and retired after 35 years from Miller’s Brewery in Fort Worth.
Robert was a man who believed in working hard, being honest and loyal – all of which echo who he was. He was independent and strong-willed as well. He loved restoring and collecting old tractors as well as farming and ranching. When he and Barbara were able to, they enjoyed many adventures traveling coast to coast, whether on a cruise or in their RV. Some of their favorite times traveling were spent at all the National Parks within the United States. Robert will be missed greatly by those he leaves behind. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy Fred and Zana Mae Smith Alldredge; and one sister, Elizabeth Clay.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Alldredge; children, Robin Marie Alldredge Rhoades, Robert Allen Alldredge, Jr., and Jason Alldredge; stepson, Brian Tidwell; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Glasgow; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
