Robert Andersen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Houser-Millard Funeral Directors - Jefferson City on Jan. 22, 2026.
Robert Norman Andersen II, 93, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, surrounded by love.
He was born October 12, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Norman and Ethel (Park) Andersen. Robert was a 1951 graduate of McKinley High School in St. Louis and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955.
On November 27, 1969, Robert married the love of his life, Sharin Grisham, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Their marriage was one of devotion and partnership, and she preceded him in death.
Robert spent his working years as a printer, first with Von Hoffman Press in St. Louis and later with the St. Louis Post Dispatch, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring. He took great pride in his work and the friendships he made along the way.
A man of simple joys, Robert loved fishing, woodworking, watching old movies, and quietly working with his hands. Above all else, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness. He had fun spending time with all his family, playing music, had his own piano tuning business, loved watching St. Louis Cardinal Baseball games with his daughter, Satcy; grandsons Brandon and Alex, and enjoyed watching football.
He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Andersen; his brother, Jim Andersen; his grandchildren Alex, Brandon, Taylor, and Leslie; and his great-grandchildren Zayden, Sammy, Ryan, Evelyn, and Waylen,; as well as extended family, all of whom will forever carry his love and memories in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharin Andersen; his brother, Farrell Andersen; and his sisters, Joyce Seibert and Norma Watson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Callaway Hills Animal Shelter, a cause close to his heart.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with burial to follow at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens, where full military honors will be rendered in his honor.
Arrangements are under the direction of HOUSER-MILLARD Funeral Directors, 2613 W. Main St.; Jefferson City, MO 65109. (573) 636-3838. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.millardfamilychapels.com
