Robert Anderson Obituary
February 16, 1949 - November 15, 2024
Robert Jean Anderson "BOBBY" left on his final fishing trip on November 15, 2024, after a long 8-year battle with cancer.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Gwendolyn Anderson and Robert Anderson and sister, Pamela Jones (Bob).
Bobby leaves behind his wife and soul mate of 37 years Bee (Belinda) Anderson. He is survived by his daughter Sheila Cline (Jason), and two step-daughters, Tina Trettin (Graham) and Heidi Washburn.
Bobby enjoyed a close relationship with his brother Rod Anderson (Debra), his sisters Pedy Lawson (Craig), and Pixie Anderson (John). Bobby's best friend was his nephew, Troy Jones. Bobby had six grandchildren, Cody, Lauren, Boston, Finley, Hailey and Tyler, and one great grandchild Jonah. Bobby had many wonderful nieces and nephews.
It has to be said that Bobby was the best cat Dad ever! In fact, his cat Reggie never left his side when he was in Hospice.
Bobby was born in Santa Rosa on February 16,1949. He spent much of his childhood in Freestone and Sebastopol and attended Analy High School.
Bobby worked in construction for most of his life and retired, after 25 years, from Mead Clark Lumber.
Bobby's true life's passion was fishing and called Bee a widow during fishing season! Bobby and his nephew Troy went on many fishing adventures together. Bobby could build anything and enjoyed fixing up the couple's home from top to bottom.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Casini Ranch in Duncan's Mills on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bobby's name to Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.
