LACONIA, NH ---- Robert (Bob) C. Andrews, 83, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Concord Hospital after a period of declining health surrounded by his family.

He was born on the Fourth of July 1942, in Hartford, CT, the son of D. Clinton Andrews and Esther (Barney) Andrews.

He grew up in Manchester, CT and graduated from Loomis Prep School in 1960 in Windsor where he played hockey and excelled academically. He later moved to Marlboro, MA and founded Decision Studios, a graphics design business and served the community for over 40 years. During that time, he created campaign materials for many local elections in the city of Marlboro and State Senate along with providing pictures and graphic illustrations of parts for Boston Gear catalog, one of his proudest business achievements. As technology changed, Bob diversified his business model and provided lettering services for trucking transportation fleet vehicles and sign making for executive office buildings in Boston.

He proudly raised 5 children as well as his grandson, taking them on many road trip adventures.

He was a very involved leader in Boy Scout Troop 101 Northboro and mentored many scouts toward achieving the Eagle Scout rank including his grandson. As part of his grandson's Eagle Scout community service project Bob supervised the rejuvenation of the nature trail at Mt. Ward at Langelier Lane in Marlboro. Bob fabricated and installed several benches along the trail and at the top of Mt. Ward to give hikers a place to stop and observe nature along the trail. He was also a passionate volunteer at Frontiers Camp in Mt Eden, Vermont for many years. Every summer he was excited to go to Indian Camp as he called it.

In addition, he loved deep sea fishing, lobster bakes with family and had a deep love for NASCAR, and attended over 20 Daytona 500 races, often with his two sons and friends, a tradition he looked forward to every year.

Family members include his daughter Jamie Dalessio and her husband Michael of Tilton, NH, sons, Gary Andrews and his wife Cheryl of Northfield, NH, Zeke Andrews and his wife Abegail of Rossmoor, CA, and his daughter Lara Andrews of Palm Beach, FL, his grandson Justin Andrews and his wife Yen of Rutherford, NJ. He is affectionately remembered by his grandchildren, Brandon, Brett and Travis Dalessio and Justin, Makai, Lily and Amber Andrews, and Jenn Dodson, and great-grandchildren Kiara, Koraleigh, Owen and Liam Dalessio, Cameron Andrews, who all loved their Papa Snap. He also leaves behind his sisters Bonnie Fisco, Peggie Bushey, and Carol Bucello, and his brother Greg Andrews, who all adored him. He also leaves behind the mother of his children, Joyce Albro and so many friends he truly treasured. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Patricia (Patty) Andrews of Hudson, MA in July of 2024.

He will be remembered as a loving and generous man who gave so much of himself to his family and friends. Hardworking, intelligent, and kind, Bob was truly a decent human being whose presence made a lasting impact. His passing is Heaven's gain, and while he will be missed terribly, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
