Robert Anthony Anselmo, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away on November 22, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Caroljean (Constantino) Anselmo. Robert was an electronics engineer and received several patents for his pioneering work in semiconductors. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late A. Peter Anselmo and the late Paula (Zotter) Anselmo.
Robert was a loving and generous father and husband who devoted his life to his family. His kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering support touched everyone who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Daughters: Olivia A., wife of Joseph J. Yurman of Stamford, CT; Gabrielle A., wife of Thomas E. Young of Allentown; and Nicole A., wife of Roy Romer of Grafton, MA.
Son: Dean M. Anselmo and his partner Damaris Melo of Playa Vista, CA.
Grandchildren: Darcie, wife of John Treviso; Jaden Anselmo; Nathan Young; and Nora Young.
Great-granddaughter: Lilith J. Treviso.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Liam A. Young, his sister, Paula M. Anselmo and his brother, Donald R. Anselmo.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Southern Poverty Law Center
