Robert Allen Antrim, known affectionately as Bobby, passed away in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 56. Born in Toledo, Oregon, Bobby grew up to be a friendly and humorous individual who cherished the beauty of the outdoors and had a deep love for animals.
Bobby embarked on his career journey at culinary school, which led him to work as a restaurant cook for several years. His career path also included a significant stint at Freightliner, and in the last decade of life, several short term positions as a security guard. Outside of his professional life, Bobby was passionate about hunting, both with a bow and rifle, and enjoyed spending time in the woods with good friends whenever possible.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Donna Chapin, several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as special lifelong friends. Bobby's life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 9, at 1 p.m. at Village Church located at 330 SW Murray Boulevard in Beaverton, Oregon. Springer and Son Funeral Home of Aloha, Oregon is assisting with the arrangements. Bobby's kind spirit and warm smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
