It is with deep sadness that I learned of Bob´s passing, or as we fondly called him at Dahlberg, Mallender & Gawn, "RWA." Bob was more than just a colleague; he was a remarkable individual whose presence brightened the office and whose generosity touched the lives of those around him.
After graduating from college, I was fortunate to become Bob´s Legal Secretary. During this formative period in my career, Bob´s mentorship and kindness made a lasting impact. When my husband´s Army medical training took us to San Antonio, I left with fond memories of my time working for Bob. Upon our return to Michigan, I was honored when Bob hired me back to work for him once again.
Bob took great pride in his gardening skills, often sharing the bounty of his labor with the office. Summer was always a special time, as he would bring in fresh vegetables from his home garden for everyone to enjoy. These simple gestures spoke volumes about his thoughtfulness and his desire to nurture not just plants, but also the people around him.
As I recall, Bob´s energy was endless-he never seemed to sit still, always busy with a new project or lending a helping hand. It is comforting to imagine him now in God´s garden, tending to heavenly blooms and sharing his vibrant spirit. Knowing "RWA" was a true honor, and his legacy of kindness and diligence will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
May Bob rest in peace, secure in the knowledge that his life enriched those around him.

So sad to hear about the passing of Bob. He was such a dynamic individual. A dedicated family man and friend to all.
I personally met Bob in the neighborhood and worked on his campaign for Birmingham City Commission. He also mentored me as I was involved with many city committees.
Bob was also my lawyer and fellow tennis player At the BAC.
He will certainly be missed, but his many achievements in life with be remembered.
RIP. Fondly. David & Tina Eick
