Robert Arlen Arnold, Jr., age 68, entered into eternal rest at his home on Monday, April 17.
After serving in the United States Navy, Robert became a career welder before answering the call to ministry in 2000. After devoting his life to Christ in 1998, he soon began his education in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Care, becoming ordained in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. Years of work in the Mission field carried him to the far reaches of Africa, India, Pakistan, and beyond. Robert most recently served as Pastor of Carson Memorial PHC for 13 years before retiring to his beloved wife's hometown of Magnolia, NC in 2022.
Robert is preceded in death by sister Cynthia Ann Arnold in 1970, father Robert Arlen Arnold, sr. in 1999, brother Randy Arnold in 2011, mother Jewell Summerlin in 2016, and stepdaughter Renee Bradshaw in 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa Ann Arnold, daughter Gwendolyn Arnold Murray (Tom) and grandsons Nathan and Jackson of Charleston, SC, son Joey Bradshaw (Diana) and grandsons Damien and Austin of Grimesland, NC, son Bradley Bradshaw and grandsons Tyler and Jordan of Greenville, NC, granddaughters Brianna and Savanna Suggs of Greenville, NC, and brothers Mike Arnold of Wilmington, NC and Tom Arnold (Jeannie) of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Friday, April 21 at Warsaw Freewill Holiness Church, 229 West Plank Road, Warsaw, NC.
