Robert Austin

Robert William Austin, age 42, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by love and family.
Robert was born on December 20, 1983, and was a long-time resident of Pensacola. He was an Eagle Scout, an accomplishment he was proud of and one that reflected the values he carried throughout his life. Robert was known for his kindness, humility, and genuine care for others. He had a calm and welcoming presence and made people feel comfortable in his company.
Robert enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was known for his great sense of humor. He was always willing to listen or offer quiet support, and he lived his life with integrity and compassion, touching the lives of many through simple acts of kindness.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Francis Austin, and his grandmother, Mary Jane Austin. He is survived by his father, Glenn Austin (Kathleen); his mother, Kathy Self Yurkonis (Joe); his brothers, Major Brian Austin (Lindsey) and Allen Austin; his nephews Brandon Austin and Tucker Austin; his beloved cat, Noodle; along with extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home beginning at 10:00am with services immediately to follow at 11:00am.
