Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - St. PetersRobert Matthew Baker Jr. age 69, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025 in St Louis, Missouri. He was born in St Louis, Missouri on April 2, 1956 to Robert and Marion Baker (née McWilliams).

Bob was a talented man. He could draw and paint beautifully . He was a “handy man”, as well, and could build or repair just about anything. He took pride in his work as a floor layer and worked in that industry for many years.
Bob liked a good joke, a good round of pool, and his Irish heritage. He liked to be known as “Irish Bob”. He enjoyed spending time at the shooting range and hanging out with his best bud of well over 30 years, Paulie.
Bob is most proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. He took great pride in serving his country and honoring his father, the late Robert Sr.; also a United States Marine. Bob was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps on June 30, 1978.
