Robert (Bob) was born and raised in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Lakeland High School. He attended Davidson College and then the Medical College of Virgina School of Dentistry.
Bob and wife Joan moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to establish his pediatric dental practice. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage.
Bob is survived by a son Robert Baldwin, Jr. (and wife Valerie) of Melbourne Beach, FL and a daughter Linda Kent (and husband Jonathan) of Holly Springs, NC.
Bob had six grandchildren (Isaac, Benjamin, Katie, Lindsay, Nathan, and Noah) and he enjoyed spectating at many soccer games, tennis matches, and baseball games. "Pops" was an avid supporter of their teams and activities and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. He was blessed to have a community of friends who enjoyed poker and dinners together.

Even if it was only for a short time, we were lucky to have Bob in our lives. Bob was a joy to be around and a tough competitor at our poker games. You´ll be missed my friend.
