Robert Earl "Bo" Ball

A graveside service with military honors for Robert "Bo" Earl Ball will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Union Grove Cemetery in Slagle with Reverend Dale Poe officiating under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Brannon Tibbitts, Jason Porche, Sean Richard, D.J. Clark, Ryan Smith, and LJ Autry.

Bo was born December 16, 1948, in Texas City, Texas and passed away September 2, 2025, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 76. He proudly served in the Army and worked in a shipyard and in construction. He was an avid reader, and western novels were his favorite type of book. Bo loved to ride his motorcycle, but his favorite thing was spending time with his family and friends.

Bo was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn Sue Ball; grandson, Logan Christopher Ball; and parents, Woodrow Wilburn Ball and Mary Elvira Marshall Ball.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Christopher Ball of Slagle, LA;

grandchildren, Melissa Faith Ball, Kody Nathaniel Ball, Jason Prche, Brannon Tibbitts, Ranessa Walls-Cobb, Isabella Murray, Richard Cochrane, Aurora Cochrane and Juniper Nevaeh Ball;

great-grandchildren,

brother, Troy Wayne Ball of Vidor, TX;

close friend, Kristy Stanley;

and extended family members and friends.
