Robert Bardin Obituary

Bardin, Robert Burgess Sr.
BURNT HILLS - Robert Burgess Bardin Sr., age 89, of Burnt Hills, N.Y., died suddenly on September 5, 2025.
He was born in Colonie, in 1936, to Kenneth and Ruth Bardin, alongside his six brothers. Robert joined the Marines as a young man. He met his future wife, Rosemary Beaulac, at Guptill's Roller Skating Arena. They were wed on September 20, 1959. Bob and Rosemary raised their three boys in Selkirk, N.Y. Bob retired from the teamsters and enjoyed retirement with his wife on the Mississippi coast during the winter. Bob enjoyed many outdoor activities, including snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. He would spend many hours watching NASCAR, horse racing, and professional wrestling, though his favorite pastime was bowling.
Bob was a member of the Professional Bowlers Association, had won gold medals in the Team U.S.A. games at the age of 65, and coached in the Del Lanes' Junior Program over two decades. He had multiple perfect games and an 800 triple to his credit.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary; and his brothers, Richard, Donald, Kenneth (Butch), and Wayne. He is survived by his brothers, Bruce and Douglas; as well as his three sons, Robert (Nancy) Bardin Jr., and their children and grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Ogilvie, Brandon Bardin, Rhilynn Ogilvie, Kaedin Ogilvie, and Bryson Ogilvie; Christopher (Cheri) Bardin, and their children and grandchildren, Christoper Bardin, Tyree Bardin, Tim (Melanie) Jackson, Elisabeth, Cameron, Jayden, and Steven Bardin; Jason (Tonya) Bardin and their children and grandchildren, Jessica Vickery, Morgan Lautenschlager, Robert Bardin, Hunter Bardin, Logan Bardin, Chloe Bardin, Lucas Hindes, and Kelsey Vickery.
Memorial services for both Bob and Rosemary will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar, N.Y. 12054. Procession from the Church to the Gerald B.H. Solomon - Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville will immediately follow the Mass, where committal prayers will be offered and Military Honors (for Bob) will commence at 11:30 a.m.
