Robert Baril Jr., 54, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2025, at the Parkland Medical Center. He was born on June 27, 1971, in Methuen, MA, to his beloved mother, Bonnie L. (Beede) Baril. Rob met his future wife, Faye (Blodgett), through her brother, with whom he was close friends throughout their childhood. The two found their perfect match in one another and began dating during the Summer of 1988. Rob also had always loved learning new things which led him to pursue and obtain his bachelor's degree from Franklin Pierce College. A couple years after his graduation, Rob married Faye in 1995 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Rob had a long and successful career as a Software Engineer but was most well-known as being a family man. He always knew that his calling was as a father. He worked tirelessly to ensure that the needs of his loved ones were met and prided himself with forging the tightest family bond possible. No challenge was ever too great for him, and he loved being able to work through problems as a family unit. He always used to say "We work hard to play hard" which he lived by to the fullest. He coveted time spent with his children, with whom he loved more than anything else in the world. He was truly kind and charitable to his core, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Rob was a man full of hobbies and adventures. He enjoyed surrounding himself with nature, whether it be while kayaking, playing frisbee golf, and hiking. He was a world traveler and enjoyed learning many worldly cultures while visiting England, India, China, and Italy. He was also known to spend his time in the kitchen, with hobbies such as ice cream making which is one of his most recent culinary ventures, and he perfected it. Rob loved to teach and spread his knowledge as well. He was a fountain of knowledge and would teach everything and anything, whether it be fatherly wisdom, help with numbers, or life advice. As his final act of selflessness, Rob and his family made the profoundly honorable decision to have his body donated to help those who needed it most. It brings his family tremendous comfort in knowing that he will live on through the very individuals with whom he has given himself to save. In addition to his best friend and wife of 30 years, Faye (Blodgett,) Rob leaves behind his children, Brittany Lynn and her husband Mark Robertson, Timothy Ryan, CWT3, USN, Brad Alan, A1C, USAF, and Rebecca Olivia all whom he is extremely proud of each and every one of them; his mother and step-father, Bonnie Baril and Chuck Dobeck; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and members of the extended family that he loved and cared for so dearly. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 12-2pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road,
Windham, NH 03097. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow, beginning at 2pm, at the funeral home. Arrangements are in the care of the Carrier Family Funeral Home. For directions or to leave a message of condolence, please visit www.carrierfuneralhome.com
