Robert Barr Obituary
Born in Pittsburgh on July 2, 1955, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Marion McGurk Barr Sr.
Bob had been a sales rep for Sugardale and Eckridge.
He was formerly the head coach for Mars Baseball for many years.
Surviving are his son, Brad Barr (fiancée, Lauren Wright), of Middlesex Township; his daughter, Marisa Woodard (Greg), of Coraopolis; his grandchildren, Dylan and Mason Woodard; his brother, David Barr, of Mars; and two sisters, Dorothy McNaugher (Bill), of Cranberry Township, and Susan Selby Kelly (Dana), of Hartsville, Pa.
BARR - There will be no calling hours for Robert J. Barr Jr., who died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026. A celebration of life golf outing will be held in the summer.
Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

My deepest sympathies to Bob's family and loved ones. A long time friend of mine during our years in the Mars Baseball Association. Bob was an icon in that organization for many years. If anything needed done, Bob and his wife always stepped forward with their help.
Rest in peace my friend. You will always be remembered as "A GOOD MAN".
