Robert “Buster” Allen Bash, 74 of Lewisburg, Ohio went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2025. Buster was born on October 20, 1950 in Portland, Indiana, son of Donald E. Fifer and Hazel F. (Hodgson) Bash. He earned his high school diploma on December 30, 1993. His last employment was with Brookhaven of Brookville Ohio where he was the night watchman and maintenance man for the assisted living section. He retired from Brookhaven after several years of employment. Buster has been a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church and Memorial United Methodist Church of Lewisburg. He loved to ride his motorcycle and to go camping and fishing at Indian Lake. He also loved to fix and build bicycles for the local kids.
Preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Susan E. (Henne) Bash 2011; father Donald E. Fifer 1982; mother Hazel F. Bash 1997; step-father Ernie Bash 1993; step-mother Sallie Katherine (East) Fifer 2008; brothers Bill Harness, Henry “Junior” Harness, Bobby Harness, Jack Harness, James Harness, Doug Fifer and Don Fifer; sisters Dorothy (Harness) Bandel, Marilyn (Harness) George, Diana (Fifer) Spence.
Survived by his daughter and son-in-law Shawna E. (Bash) and James “Jim” Hensley, granddaughters Shelby E. Hensley, Savannah E. Hensley; sisters Nancy (Fifer) and Daniel Buckley, Betty (Harness) Pelaston, Barbara (Harness) George and Doloris (Fifer) Kuhn; sister-in-law Joyce (Henne) Stebbins.

Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 US Route 40 East, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David Brisker officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M to 4:00 P.M. on Friday at the church prior to the service.
