Robert M. Halderman

Robert M. “Bob” Halderman, age 74 of Eaton, Ohio, formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Lewisburg. He was born on June 24, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, son of George W. and Anna Mae (Hinders) Halderman. Bob was a 1969 graduate of Twin Valley North High School, attended the University of Dayton and Wright State University and worked in the plastics industry for many years. He was an Assistant manager at Lewisburg Super Valu, a volunteer with the Lewisburg Fire Department, Charter Member of the Lewisburg Chapter of Jaycees and member of the Lewisburg American Revolution Bicentennial Committee. Bob loved the outdoors, working with plants and started the Haunted Cave in Lewisburg.

The Halderman family would like to express their gratitude for the love and care provided to Bob by Just Like Home Elderly Care and EverHeart Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his Mother: Anna Mae (Hinders) Halderman in 2012.

Survived by his Wife of 40 years: Susan J. (Carmony) Halderman; Father: George W. Halderman; Children: April J. (Ted) Thies, Jason M. Halderman (Connie Combs), Andrew F. and Adam R. Freshour; Siblings: Christie (Dwight) Prince, Ruth Ann Halderman (Bob Myers), Alan (Thelma) Halderman, Teri Whitaker (Kelly Wolfe), and Carol Schlater; Grandchildren: Hailey (Seth) Petersen, Luke (Julie) Thies, Cora Freshour and Bree and Luna Hancock; Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor Gary Sollenberger. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. until the service at the funeral home.
